Transfer Rumours: Arsenal bombshell as Man Utd offered midfielder
FootballTransfers runs through the biggest rumours from 3 December, including the latest updates on Kobbie Mainoo and Elliot Anderson.
Arsenal eye Mainoo deal
Arsenal are interested in wantaway Man Utd midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, according to ESPN. The Gunners are looking for cover for oft-injured captain Martin Odegaard.
However, it is claimed that it is doubtful whether Mainoo would be willing to join Arsenal, despite his desire to leave Man Utd in the January transfer window.
Mainoo is looking to leave on loan and join a club where he is guaranteed minutes ahead of the World Cup.
Man Utd offered second Dabo chance
Man Utd have been offered a second chance to sign Senegal U17 captain Mouhamed Dabo, according to Africa Foot and wiwsport.
Earlier this week, Croatian development club NK Kustosija announced the signing of the former Man Utd trialist, but his current club Be Sports Academy claim that no agreement was reached in a bizarre twist.
It is asserted that Dabo has been the victim of 'manipulation' and that he remains on the books at Be Sports Academy in Senegal. However, his club says that he is still available for transfer, with Man Utd, Chelsea and Barcelona interested.
Chelsea back in for Ordonez
Chelsea have re-entered the race to sign Club Brugge centre-back Joel Ordonez, according to Bolavip.
The Blues were linked with a move for the Ecuador international last January, but no move materialised despite Moises Caicedo reportedly asking for his signing.
Now, Chelsea have reignited their interest, but they will face competition for the €40 million-rated defender.
Neymar won't join Miami
Although Inter Miami hold an interest in Santos superstar Neymar, they will not sign him in the January transfer window, according to Sport.
The Brazilian will be available on a free transfer in January, but Miami have other priorities at the moment, dashing his dream of playing alongside Lionel Messi again.
Neymar has struggled with injuries for years, and his profile is not what Javier Mascherano is currently looking for. The coach wants a striker, and a potential deal for ex-Chelsea forward Timo Werner is currently being discussed.
Man Utd ready to shatter transfer record
Man Utd are ready to shatter their transfer record in order to bring in Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, according to Manchester World.
The Red Devils' current most expensive signing is still Paul Pogba, who rejoined the club from Juventus for €105m in 2016 before departing again in 2022.
It is claimed that the fee required to sign Anderson could easily break Pogba's record, with Forest not willing to make life easy for the England star's suitors.
