Marcus Rashford update

Marcus Rashford could be heading back to Man Utd this summer, with Barcelona primed to activate ‘Plan B’ when it comes to reinforcing their attack.

Rashford joined the Catalan club in 2025 on a one-year loan, having been frozen out by then Man Utd boss Ruben Amorim, and although he has impressed at Camp Nou, there is no guarantee they will pay the €30 million buyout clause in his deal.

In fact, the prospect of Rashford returning to Man Utd seems to be drawing a little closer, with Barcelona now eyeing Jack Grealish, Malick Fofana, Nicolo Zaniolo and Said El Mala as alternative options, according to El Nacional.

If Barcelona were to seriously chase one of those players, this would leave Rashford free to move back to Man Utd.

Alexis Mac Allister added to transfer wishlist

Man Utd are reportedly weighing up a shock summer move for Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister amid their pursuit of a new central midfielder.

The Red Devils are in the market for significant reinforcements in the middle of the park following confirmation that Casemiro will leave Old Trafford in July and Mac Allister has now been earmarked as their latest target.

That is according to The Mirror, who report that Man Utd officials are keeping a close eye on Mac Allister’s situation at Anfield amid rumours that he could leave Arne Slot’s side this summer.

Aleksandar Stankovic wants Inter

Man Utd midfield target Aleksandar Stankovic has revealed that he “dreams” of rejoining Inter Milan amid rumours of a Premier League move this summer.

The 20-year-old left San Siro to join Club Brugge for a fee of €9.5 million last July and he has enjoyed a thoroughly successful start to life in Belgium, scoring seven goals and providing four assists in 38 appearances across all competitions so far this season.

His form has unsurprisingly attracted the attention of scouts across Europe, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur all keeping close tabs on his development, as per TEAMtalk.

However, speaking to Sky Italy over the weekend, Stankovic admitted (via Chelsea Chronicle): “Inter is a unique love, either you have it inside you or you don’t. Inter fans can understand. Coming back is a dream in the drawer, I don’t know when it will come true.”

Yan Diomande scouting mission

Man Utd were among the clubs to send scouts to watch Yan Diomande score his eighth goal of the season against VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday.

That is according to TEAMtalk, who claim that representatives from Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur were all in attendance at the Red Bull Arena to scout Diomande.

Liverpool are currently the frontrunners for the Ivory Coast starlet, but Man Utd are ready to challenge for his signature this summer.

Felix Nmecha interest rekindled

Man Utd have rekindled their interest in Felix Nmecha as they look to land a replacement for Casemiro, according to Fussball Daten.

Dortmund are reportedly expected to demand a fee of at least €45m, with Man Utd set to battle Chelsea and Tottenham for his signature.
