Man Utd Transfer News Today: Mbeumo FUMES as shock loan move explored
All the latest Man Utd transfer news in one place, including updates on Bryan Mbeumo, Goncalo Inacio and Jadon Sancho.
Exclusive: Man Utd eye Inacio loan
FootballTransfers understands that Man Utd are eyeing a move for Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio. Surprisingly, the Red Devils would look to sign him on an initial loan.
Man Utd would look to include an obligation to buy Inacio next summer, with the Old Trafford club willing to pay €40 million for the Portugal international.
Ruben Amorim is keen to reunite with his former Sporting protégé, and it is understood that the Portuguese giants are willing to listen to offers for Inacio this summer.
Mbeumo frustrated with Man Utd delay
Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo is reportedly frustrated that Man Utd have still not managed to reach an agreement to sign him, despite talks with the Bees dragging on for over a month now.
It is claimed that there has been little progress of late, which has left Mbeumo anything but satisfied as he has made it clear to Brentford and his other suitors that he is desperate to move to Man Utd this summer.
Man Utd made an opening offer for the Cameroon international at the start of June, and improved bids have followed since, but there remains a sizeable gap between the two clubs.
Why Brentford are playing hardball
The reason behind the delay over a deal for Mbeumo is due to Brentford showing no signs of budging from their €80m+ asking price for the versatile attacker.
On the contrary, recent developments in the market have, in Brentford's view, only reinforced that they are right to demand this much for a very reliable Premier League forward.
Having seen Joao Pedro move to Chelsea for €70m and with Anthony Elanga on his way to Newcastle for €64m, Brentford feel that €80m for Mbeumo is a fair price.
New Sancho talks
Juventus and Man Utd held fresh talks over a deal for Jadon Sancho on Tuesday, with the Bianconeri keen to reach an agreement with the Red Devils this week.
Man Utd are not opposed to selling Sancho, but the two clubs have to agree on a fee, while the winger will have to lower his salary demands, which may not be a huge issue as he is keen on the move.
Juventus want clarity on whether a deal for Sancho is possible and feasible as they also remain in talks with Porto for Francisco Conceicao and are only planning to sign one of the two.
Bargain Malacia price
Man Utd left-back Tyrell Malacia is available for just €3.7 million this summer as this is the fee the Old Trafford club require to avoid making a book loss on the Dutchman.
Man Utd accept that they 'won't be inundated with offers' for the defender, who has had a difficult time of things since his long-term injury absence.
Malacia only made a dozen appearances on loan at PSV in the second half of last season, and the Dutch giants opted against signing him.
