Man Utd to agree Jadon Sancho sale TODAY
Juventus will hold fresh talks with Manchester United on Tuesday to agree a deal for Jadon Sancho, according to Italian media.
The Bianconeri are pushing hard to belatedly secure the signing of the former England international. Juventus previously tried and failed to sign Sancho when he was available, but this summer might finally be different.
The 25-year-old is on the market after being sent back to Man Utd by Chelsea, and Juventus have been in positive talks with him and the Red Devils for well over a week.
Juventus are not concerned about his price tag, although they are reportedly trying to push Man Utd's touted €30 million asking price down to a more reasonable €25m. The bigger issue for the Old Lady is Sancho's salary.
The former €85m man is said to be very keen on a move to Turin, but he will have to accept a sizeable pay cut before Juventus can officially complete his signing.
Juventus to hold fresh talks today
According to TuttoSport, Juventus will hold fresh talks with Man Utd today, Tuesday, to reach an agreement for the transfer of Sancho, or at least to move closer to a deal with their English counterparts.
Tuesday will be a 'key day' for the Bianconeri's summer business, the Italian outlet claims. Man Utd are not 'putting up resistance' to the sale of Sancho, but an agreement is still pending, and failure to reach common ground soon could doom the winger's move.
That is because Juventus simultaneously remain in talks with Porto over a deal for Francisco Conceicao, who is coming off a mixed loan spell with the Serie A giants.
Negotiations with the Portuguese club are proving difficult, and there is said to be a €10m gap in valuation between the two sides. Juventus will only be able to sign one of Sancho or Conceicao, so today's call with Man Utd will prove instructive as to who they will ultimately end up signing.
