Fernandez snubbed, but...

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has been snubbed by Real Madrid, but Arsenal and Man City are showing an interest in him, Gianluigi Longari claims.

Real Madrid have published an official statement denying that they have any intention of pursuing a deal for the Argentina international, which will surely have come as a shock to him given that he was desperate to join them this summer.

However, he may still get to leave Chelsea, with Arsenal and Man City "gathering information" on him. Chelsea value Fernandez at a whopping €140 million.

AS Roma are offering Chelsea the chance to offload Alejandro Garnacho, as per Alfredo Pedulla.

The 21-year-old has been a hugely underwhelming signing for Chelsea and faces an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge just a year after joining. The Blues are scouring the market for left-wingers and have identified West Ham star Crysencio Summerville as an option.

AS Roma have indicated that they are willing to sign Garnacho either on loan or permanently as long as the finances are right. They have enquired about the Argentine, but Chelsea have not yet made a final decision on whether or not to let him go.

Xhaka to stay at Sunderland

Sunderland midfielder Granit Xhaka has decided to stay despite his initial desire to join Chelsea, Sky Sports understands.

The Switzerland international is a priority target for Xabi Alonso, who coached him at Bayer Leverkusen. When the interest became clear, Xhaka was desperate to return to London and link up with the Spaniard.

However, Sunderland have made it clear that the 33-year-old is not for sale and rejected Chelsea's opening offer out of hand. Following a discussion with the club, Xhaka is now said to be content to stay on Wearside.

Mora set for Premier League move

Chelsea are among the clubs keeping tabs on Tijuana sensation Gilberto Mora, according to De Telegraaf.

The youngest player at the World Cup, the Mexico wonderkid will turn 18 in October, meaning that he will be able to move to Europe in January. The two Manchester clubs and Liverpool are also interested in signing him, in addition to Chelsea.

Mora recently signed a bumper new contract at Tijuana, described as the biggest deal in club history, but the Liga MX side disclosed that there is an exit mechanism in the agreement that allows the youngster to move to Europe without much of a fuss.
