Transfer Rumours: Man Utd 'submit' Bellingham bid as Arsenal step up €100m talks
Transfer news is once again dominating the online football world as clubs begin to ramp up their plans ahead of the upcoming January window.
Below, FootballTransfers runs through the biggest rumours and gossip from 8 December, including the latest updates on Jude Bellingham and Kenan Yildiz.
Jude Bellingham to Man Utd?
Manchester United have submitted a €150 million offer for Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
The Red Devils reportedly want to make Bellingham “the face of their new sporting project” and they are eager to finalise a blockbuster deal to bring him to Old Trafford in 2026.
However, Real Madrid have insisted that Bellingham is not for sale at any price and they are unwilling to entertain exit talks.
Arsenal intensify Kenan Yildiz chase
Arsenal are ready to step up their interest in Juventus wonderkid Kenan Yildiz amid contract uncertainty and interest from Real Madrid.
The Premier League leaders want to reinforce their attacking options in 2026 and have Yildiz in their sights as the January transfer window approaches.
The 20-year-old has become one of Serie A’s outstanding prospects, but Calciomercato indicates that he could soon be on his way to the Emirates Stadium as interest from Mikel Arteta’s side builds.
Chelsea eye early Emmanuel Emegha deal
Chelsea are reportedly considering bringing forward their deal to sign Emmanuel Emegha following news that Liam Delap could miss the next two months after dislocating his shoulder on Saturday.
The Netherlands star is set to move to Stamford Bridge next summer, however, TEAMtalk now claim that Chelsea are looking at the possibility of bringing Emegha to west London in January following Delap’s injury.
Strasbourg are understandably reluctant to allow the Netherlands international to depart halfway through the season, but Chelsea would likely finalise a deal during the first few days of the winter window in order to allow the Ligue 1 outfit time to find a suitable replacement.
Man Utd join Ayyoub Bouaddi race
Manchester United are reportedly among the clubs to have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi next year.
The France U21 international is one of the most sought-after players in world football and he is widely expected to leave his boyhood club in 2026, despite agreeing a new contract over the weekend.
His form has attracted the attention of multiple top European clubs and Foot Mercato claim that Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Juventus, Man Utd, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are all interested in signing him next year, in addition to Arsenal.
Carlos Baleba latest
Manchester United have been informed that Brighton & Hove Albion are willing to sell Carlos Baleba for a reduced fee next year.
The Red Devils failed to finalise a deal for his signature this summer, but Sky Sport Switzerland reporter Sacha Tavolieri has now confirmed that Baleba may be allowed to depart Brighton if they receive an offer worth €85m.
Bayern Munich have also reportedly emerged as shock suitors for Baleba’s signature, but a move to Old Trafford remains his priority for 2026.
