Jose Mourinho RETURNS to Man Utd to save star from Amorim

Jose Mourinho is planning a sensational transfer involving form club Manchester United, with the idea of the Portuguese boss to save one ailing star from Ruben Amorim.
Jadon Sancho has become a forgotten figure at Old Trafford following his loan move to Chelsea, yet the former Borussia Dortmund star, who the Red Devils bought for €85 million has returned to the club this summer.
The Blues paid €6m for Man Utd to take him back after a disappointing campaign at Stamford Bridge – indicating they are not confident of being able to sell him for above the €25m price they were expected to pay for him as part of his loan deal.
Now United are left with Sancho, who is a player who does not fit into Amorim’s plans and is set to be shipped out during the window.
Mourinho’s Fenerbahce could prove an unlikely saviour for the Red Devils, with the Istanbul side taking an interest in the 25-year-old attacker.
Milliyet reports that officials from Fener are even in Manchester to hold transfer talks, with the subject of their interest Sancho. PSG striker Randal Kolo-Muani and Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane are other high-profile targets Mourinho’s side are chasing.

Jose Mourinho: An uncertain future at Fenerbahce
While Fenerbahce chase Sancho, Mourinho’s future at Fenerbahce hangs in the balance. According to the same source, he has held talks with the club’s president in London over his plans.
After a season without a trophy, there is speculation that he could leave the club, with the post at Inter Milan one that he was linked with before Cristian Chivu landed the role.
The Turkish side have undergone a restructuring in the background, with Devin Ozek, who played an important role behind the scenes at Bayer Leverkusen during their historic success in 2023/24, arriving as sporting director.
Mourinho’s presence could be an important draw to Sancho if he were to move to Turkey, though, with the Portuguese’s reputation as a leading boss still intact.
