Ruben Amorim drops Gyokeres update
Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has said that he has no interest in signing Viktor Gyokeres because of the striker’s attitude.
Amorim said: “Gyokeres deal? I’ve not spoken to him. But if a player only wants to come to Man United to play Champions League, then he won’t come.
“We want players who want to represent United, not players who want to play certain competitions.”
United launch Tah bid
Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah could be on his way to Old Trafford in the summer, with reports indicating that Man Utd are planning on hijacking Barcelona’s proposed move for the Germany international defender.
Tah has announced that he will be available as a free agent in the summer, and while it was previously thought that he would join Barca, complications have emerged in that move.
United are one of several major clubs fighting for his signature.
Formal bid for ‘key’ Barcelona player
Barcelona’s Fermin Lopez has emerged as a transfer target for Amorim, with Man Utd even reported to have launched a bid for the promising star.
It is claimed that the Red Devils will offer up to €30 million for the versatile midfielders, with the Portuguese coach of the belief that he is “perfect” for his system, Football365 reports.
Barcelona see Fermin as a “key” player for the summer but the financial position of the club may tempt them into a surprise sale.
The 21-year-old, who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €19m and a release clause of €500m, is said to want to remain at Barca.

Striker has Man Utd medical
Teenage striker Enzo Kana-Biyik is close to completing a move from Ligue 1 side Le Havre to Man Utd, according to reports from France.
The 18-year-old has flown in to Manchester for his medical with the club, who he is expected to join as a free agent at the end of the season when his deal with his current side expires.
It is a deal that will mirror the move that brought Paul Pogba to Man Utd.
Kana-Biyik will be the second young player to hook up with United this summer as a deal with Diego Leon has already been struck.
Another teen star to follow?
Man Utd are in the mix to sign Christian Kofane from LaLiga2 side Albacete, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The 18-year-old has scored five goals in 14 appearances so far this season and has a release clause worth €5m.
Newcastle United are Aston Villa are also interested in the promising youngster.
