OFFICIAL: Bayern Munich sign Luiz Diaz from Liverpool
Luis Diaz has officially signed for Bayern Munich from Liverpool.
Bayern have paid a transfer fee of €75 million for the Colombian winger.
The 28-year-old has signed a four-year contract at the German champions until 2029.
Diaz arrived in Germany on Tuesday to undergo his Bayern medical at the Barmherzigen Brüder Hospital.
He then signed his Bayern contract, which was officially announced on Wednesday morning.
Diaz to Bayern
"I'm very happy, it means a lot to me to be part of Bayern – it's one of the biggest clubs in the world," Diaz said of his move.
"I want to help my new team with my style of football and my personality. My goal is to win every possible title – we will work towards that every day as a team."
Bayern Munich director of sport Max Eberl added: "Luis Díaz is an internationally experienced player with tremendous quality, great abilities, and great reliability. He will help our team immediately. We're happy that we were able to bring him to Bayern.
"Transfers like this work when everything meshes together. Our fans can look forward to an exceptional player."
Bayern had made the signing of a top winger their primary target this summer transfer window.
They previously failed with moves for Florian Wirtz and Nico Williams.

They were also linked with Rafa Leao but Diaz became their top target.
Bayern initially had one offer for Diaz of €67.5m rejected by Liverpool before agreeing on a higher value.
Diaz put in a transfer request this summer and Liverpool decided to negotiate having already spent very heavily this summer.

He has been capped 64 times by Colombia, scoring 19 goals.
