The big spenders will be out in force again this summer, with Real Madrid looking to back new boss Xabi Alonso, Chelsea keen to improve again after securing Champions League qualification, and Manchester United desperate to reclaim some kind of success after a disastrous season that saw them finish just three places above the relegation zone in the Premier League.

The Red Devils have signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, with Man City also flexing their financial power to sign Tijani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Marcus Bettinelli and Rayan Cherki.

Chelsea have signed Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens, notably.

Arsenal have been very busy, too, bringing in Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard and Cristhian Mosquera.

The biggest deal so far this summer saw Florian Wirtz complete a blockbuster transfer to Liverpool from Leverkusen, while they also brought in Hugo Ekitike from the Bundesliga.

Newcastle could replace Isak with Mitrovic

Should Newcastle let Alexander Isak go to Liverpool, they could look to replace him with Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The former Fulham striker was in fine form for Al-Hilal last season, scoring 28 goals and recording seven assists.

It's no secret that Al-Hilal are desperate to sign a marquee centre-forward, though, having tried and failed to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

Tottenham and Man Utd are also potential destinations for Mitrovic, should he leave the Saudi Pro League. (Caught Offside)

Gabriel Jesus is a wanted man

Following Viktor Gyokeres' arrival at Arsenal, Gabriel Jesus' future at the Emirates is uncertain.

Injury issues plagued his campaign last season so the club may be willing to cash-in, should a decent offer arrive.

Caught Offside reports that Newcastle, Tottenham, Milan, Barcelona and several Brazilian clubs are monitoring his situation - but he'll need to prove his fitness first.

Man Utd to rival Juve for Kolo Muani

Man Utd could look to beat Juventus to the signing of Randal Kolo Muani.

The centre-forward spent the second half of last season on loan at Juve from Paris Saint-Germain where he scored eight goals in 16 Serie A matches and the Bianconeri want to sign him on a permanent basis.

PSG value Kolo Muani at between €40 million and €45m as they are keen to recoup some of their initial outlay on the player which was around €90m. (Gazzetta)
