The 10 transfers Chelsea are set to complete before Deadline Day
Chelsea are set to complete an additional 10 transfers before the summer window closes at 19:00 BST on Monday 1 September.
Enzo Maresca’s side have already been extremely active in the market so far this summer, but they are expected to finalise deals right up until the official end of Deadline Day.
The likes of Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Jorrel Hato and Liam Delap have all arrived at Stamford Bridge so far this summer, while the club have also sanctioned a plethora of sales in a bid to trim down the size of their first-team squad.
As a result, Chelsea currently boast a net spend of just €3.2 million and the Blues are likely to end the window with a positive transfer balance if they are able to sanction several player sales.
The west London giants have already signed or sold 21 players for a transfer fee so far this summer, however a further 10 stars are expected to either arrive or depart before the end of Deadline Day.
Who will Chelsea sell before Deadline Day ends?
Chelsea are desperate to offload several unwanted stars, although they face a race against time to finalise the departures they crave.
Christopher Nkunku is close to completing a permanent transfer to AC Milan, with a full agreement reached and a medical underway, while Nicolas Jackson could be set to join Bayern Munich.
Vincent Kompany’s side are eager to sign the Senegal star on an initial loan deal with an obligation-to-buy clause included and Chelsea are believed to be open to this arrangement.
The Blues are at risk of retaining both Ben Chilwell and Axel Disasi this summer, due to a lack of concrete talks, but they are still optimistic of finalising their exits before the end of Deadline Day.
Raheem Sterling is also expected to leave Chelsea, although there is little interest in his services. Fulham appear to be his most likely destination as things stand.
Meanwhile, Alfie Gilchrist is on the verge of completing a permanent move to West Bromwich Albion and fellow youngster Tyrique George is in talks with AS Roma. Bayern are also reportedly interested in the England youth international.
Finally, David Datro Fofana is the last player expected to leave Chelsea this summer after being deemed surplus to requirements by the Blues hierarchy.
Who will Chelsea sign before Deadline Day ends?
Chelsea are on the verge of officially announcing the signing of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho after agreeing a €46.2m (£40m) deal for the 21-year-old.
Meanwhile, the club are also determined to bring in a new attacking midfielder before the window closes.
Top target Xavi Simons is set to join Tottenham Hotspur, after Thomas Frank’s side successfully hijacked Chelsea’s proposed deal for the RB Leipzig star, and Barcelona’s Fermin Lopez has now emerged as a potential new arrival.
The Blues have already submitted a €65m proposal for the Spain international, as per reports, and they are eager to convince the midfielder to leave Camp Nou.
