Transfer Rumours: Man Utd start €80m pursuit as final Endrick decision announced
FootballTransfers runs through the biggest rumours and gossip from 17 October, including the latest updates on Endrick, Troy Parrott and Alex Scott.
Endrick going nowhere
Real Madrid have decided not to allow Endrick to leave on loan in January, Fabrizio Romano understands.
The Brazil international has struggled for minutes this season, giving rise to suggestions that he is keen to pursue another loan move in the winter. Arsenal, Man Utd, AC Milan, AS Roma and Aston Villa have all been credited with an interest.
However, Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho insisted this week that he wants to keep Endrick for the season, and Romano says that this is a genuine desire, also shared by the club hierarchy.
Man Utd eye Parrott
Man Utd are keeping tabs on Real Betis striker Troy Parrott, Fichero claims.
The Republic of Ireland international has scored twice since joining from AZ in the summer. He left the Netherlands having scored 51 goals in 97 appearances for the Alkmaar club.
His form has attracted the attention of Man Utd, but Betis are relaxed about the situation. Parrott is protected by an €80 million release clause, making a transfer anytime soon unlikely.
Chelsea's midfield plans
Chelsea are planning to sign two midfielders in 2027, as per Simon Phillips.
The Blues failed to replace Enzo Fernandez in the summer and have suffered a major injury blow after captain Reece James required knee surgery that is expected to keep him sidelined until the new year. Signing new midfielders is therefore an urgent priority in 2027.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with a January move for Bournemouth star Alex Scott, and recent reports have suggested that he could be cheaper than the €118m touted initially. Monaco's Lamine Camara and Roma's Manu Kone are also still on Chelsea's radar.
Bellingham, Guler to extend
Real Madrid duo Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler have committed their long-term futures to the club.
AS reports that England star Bellingham has agreed fresh terms until 2031. He will be rewarded with an improved salary after developing into one of the world's best midfielders.
TEAMtalk, meanwhile, writes that Guler will also sign on until 2031. The Turkey international has fielded interest from Arsenal and other clubs in recent years, but he will stay at Real Madrid for the foreseeable future.
Brentford relaxed over Schade
Brentford are under no pressure to sell Kevin Schade in January, according to TEAMtalk.
The Bees are aware that the Germany international is attracting strong interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, and while they could be prepared to sanction a mid-season sale, they will only do so at the right price. It would require more than €60m to prise him away.
Ideally, Brentford want to keep Schade and extend his contract. Talks have already started, but the outcome remains unclear. His current deal expires in 2028, meaning that he will likely be sold next year if no renewal is agreed.
