Chelsea, in particular, are concretely interested in Werder Bremen defender Karim Coulibaly, according to Sky Germany.

The 18-year-old centre-back is being routinely scouted by most big clubs around Europe, but it is the Blues who are showing the strongest interest in the teenager right now. Coulibaly is expected to leave Bremen this summer.

The Bundesliga side are hoping for a fee in the region of €40 million to €50m, but this is not a firm price tag yet and is subject to change depending on the level of actual interest in signing him. A Germany youth international, Coulibaly is fluent in French and dreams of a move to PSG.

Fernandez to hand in transfer request

Real Madrid are unwilling to match Chelsea's hefty asking price for the Argentine, so Fernandez is ready to take matters into his own hands by putting pressure on the Blues to lower their demands.

Chelsea in Nunez talks

Chelsea are in contact with the representatives of Al-Hilal striker Darwin Nunez, as per TEAMtalk.

The former Liverpool forward is looking to leave the Riyadh club this summer after being de-registered from their Saudi Pro League squad following the signing of Karim Benzema in early February.

Chelsea are considering Nunez as a potential market opportunity amid growing uncertainty over the long-term future of Liam Delap, who could be sold at the right price after just 12 months.

Chelsea make Barco promise

Chelsea have promised Strasbourg midfielder Valentin Barco that he will be a "cornerstone of the project," Andres Onrubia Ramos reports.

The Argentina international is believed to be on his way to Stamford Bridge this summer after previously starring under Liam Rosenior in Ligue 1. Barco has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea.

The 21-year-old is viewed as a potential replacement for compatriot Fernandez. Chelsea have yet to announce the deal, but all the signs are that Barco will be a Blues midfielder next term.

Moreira on the move?

Strasbourg wide player Diego Moreira is expected to be on the move this summer, Sky Germany states.

The former Chelsea player has become a star player for the French club, playing as a winger and full-back, and is ready to take the next step in his career this summer. He will likely cost up to €40m.

Borussia Dortmund are showing a strong interest in the Belgian, but Chelsea are believed to have a "favourable" buy-back clause for Moreira, which could see him end up back at Stamford Bridge.
