The England star is unsettled at the Bernabeu, where he has struggled to make the expected impact sign moving from Liverpool in June.

Although he still has more than five years left on his deal with Los Blancos, manager Alvaro Arbeola has told him that he is not in his plans.

Adam Wharton agrees Liverpool move

Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton is ready to move to Liverpool in the summer.

Wharton has been a transfer target for numerous major clubs around Europe in recent months, with Manchester United and Real Madrid notably both linked with the former Blackburn star.

Cole Palmer has been linked with a sensational move from Chelsea to Manchester United in recent weeks, yet the Blues are now working hard to ensure that does not happen.
