Transfer Rumours: Chelsea in winger talks as €200m Michael Olise bid launched
FootballTransfers runs through the biggest rumours from 7 April, including the latest updates on Michael Olise, Kerim Alajbegovic and Eduardo Camavinga.
€200m Olise bid lands
Real Madrid have launched a €200 million bid for Bayern Munich superstar Michael Olise, Fichajes claims.
Such a deal would make the France international the second-most-expensive player ever, behind only Neymar, who still holds the world record with his €222m move to PSG.
Real Madrid believe that Olise could be their next Gareth Bale, hence their willingness to spend big on the winger. However, whether it will be enough to break Bayern's resolve remains to be seen.
Chelsea in Alajbegovic talks
Chelsea, Man Utd and other Premier League clubs are in contact with Bayer Leverkusen winger Kerim Alajbegovic, as per Reprezentacija.
The 18-year-old starred for Bosnia and Herzegovina in their UEFA playoff victories that saw them qualify for the World Cup, setting up Edin Dzeko's goal versus Wales and converting his spot kick in both penalty shootouts.
Alajbegovic is currently on the books at RB Salzburg after joining permanently in the summer, but Leverkusen have already triggered their buy-back clause. They could immediately sell him on again, with a fee north of €30m currently being touted.
Camavinga could be sold by Real Madrid
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Real Madrid will listen to offers for Eduardo Camavinga this summer.
While Los Blancos are not actively looking to force the France international out of the club, they will consider offers that match their valuation. Links with PSG have been played down by the transfer insider.
Instead, a move to the Premier League appears more likely. Numerous clubs are said to be attentive to the situation and to have been in contact with the representatives of the midfielder.
Arsenal lead Diomande race
Arsenal are in pole position to sign RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, according to CaughtOffside.
Though it is widely believed that Liverpool would be the Ivorian's preferred destination this summer, it is claimed that he will only join a club competing in the Champions League.
With the Reds far from guaranteed to qualify, Arsenal have emerged as the new favourites to sign the 19-year-old, and the Gunners have been in touch with his representatives to sound out a deal.
Man Utd to axe eight for Anderson?
Man Utd are ready to axe several players to fund a deal for Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson, The Sun asserts.
As many as five players could be sold, while Casemiro, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia will leave the club on free transfers this summer. Man Utd are determined to beat Man City to the England star's signature.
The Cityzens are believed to be leading the race for Anderson, but the Red Devils are willing to pull out all the stops to get their hands on the Forest midfielder.
