Transfer Rumours: Chelsea in Darwin Nunez talks as €80m bid could unlock deal
FootballTransfers runs through the biggest rumours from 8 April, including the latest updates on Darwin Nunez, Eduardo Camavinga and Rodri.
Chelsea in Nunez talks
Chelsea are in contact with the camp of Al-Hilal striker Darwin Nunez, TEAMtalk claims.
The Uruguay international is expected to leave the Riyadh club this summer after being axed from their Saudi Pro League squad when Karim Benzema was signed in February.
Chelsea are exploring the conditions of a potential deal for the former Liverpool star due to the uncertainty surrounding Liam Delap, who could be sold at the right price this summer.
Camavinga to cost €80m
Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers in the region of €80 million for Eduardo Camavinga, according to Sky Sports Switzerland.
The France international would prefer to stay at Real Madrid this summer, but his representatives are aware of the club's stance and have begun contacting potential suitors.
Arsenal and Liverpool are currently believed to be the best-placed clubs to sign Camavinga, who has also been linked with other sides in the Premier League.
Man City confident over Rodri deal
Man City are confident that they will be able to convince Rodri to sign a new contract, Fabrizio Romano reports.
The Cityzens believe that they have offered the Spain international a very good deal, and they have made it clear that they will not sell him for a cut price this summer, even if he rejects an extension.
Real Madrid are interested in the midfielder, but they will not spend "crazy" money on the 29-year-old, so if he's hoping to move to the Spanish capital, he would have to wait until his current contract expires in 2027.
Liverpool hold Fernandes meeting
Liverpool have held a transfer meeting with the representatives of West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, as per CaughtOffside.
The Portugal international, who has also been linked with Man Utd, is expected to leave the Hammers if they get relegated to the Championship this season. However, West Ham will not make life easy for Fernandes' suitors.
It is claimed that he could command a fee north of €60m. Liverpool are thought to be ahead of Man Utd in the race to sign the midfielder.
Chelsea step up Coulibaly chase
Chelsea are the strongest suitors of Werder Bremen wonderkid Karim Coulibaly, Sky Germany states.
The 18-year-old is expected to leave the Bundesliga club this summer and fetch a fee of potentially up to €50m. Chelsea's interest is the most "concrete," but he is also being scouted by various other top clubs.
The centre-back, for his part, dreams of a move to PSG. Though a Germany youth international, he is fluent in French and would jump at the chance to move to Paris.
