Real Madrid plot spectacular Haaland move

Real Madrid are ready to usher in a new Galactico era with the signing of Erling Haaland from Manchester City.

Spanish reports are insistent that while the deal seems a long way off, Madrid believe they can pull it off.

Central to the success of the transfer will be Vinicius Junior. The Brazil international could be sold to the Saudi Pro League next summer if he does not sign a new contract, providing around €250 million (£217.8m) in funds for Los Blancos to go chasing Haaland.

Chelsea line up Argentina starlet

Chelsea are ready to splash out on Bologna’s 21-year-old Argentine striker Santiago Castro, multiple sources in Italy report.

The Stamford Bridge side have sent scouts to monitor the forward but were left frustrated as he was left as an unused substitute during the recent clash with Pisa.

Interest in Castro has been widespread, allowing Bologna to slap a €70m (£61m) asking price on the player.

FootballTransfers previously reported that Arsenal have been following him.
