Man Utd bid €90m to steal ‘GAME-CHANGING’ wonderkid from Chelsea as contract talks stall
Manchester United are ready to launch a €90 million bid for Juventus wonderkid Kenan Yildiz in a move that would leave Chelsea stunned.
The Blues are thought to be closely monitoring the situation of Yildiz as his contract talks with the Serie A giants have stalled, but Man Utd are ready to beat them to the Turkey No.10 with a mega bid.
Discussions between Yildiz’s father and Juve are ongoing while in the background numerous leading clubs are following the situation, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, which highlights Barcelona and the Blues in particular.
Despite the current impasse, the Bianconeri are said to remain “optimistic” about their prospects of agreeing a contract with Yildiz, who is set to be elevated towards the level of the club’s top earners.
The No.10 currently earns €1.5 million per year but is set to receive around triple that figure, with a new salary of €4.5-5m, according to the Italian source. He will be in Juventus’ second bracket of earners, behind only Dusan Vlahovic (€12m) and Jonathan David (€6m).
Kenan Yildiz: Premier League clubs ready for transfer battle
Described as a potential “game-changing” signing, Yildiz has emerged as a serious target for Man Utd, according to the Daily Briefing. This report indicates the Red Devils are prepared to bid as much as €90m to sign the 20-year-old.
Chelsea’s interest is still there in the background. The Blues had an offer of €70m rejected for the player in the summer, despite his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) sitting at almost exactly €60m.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are known to have scouted him already this month.
Yildiz has yet to click into top gear this season, despite managing both a goal and an assist in fixtures against Dortmund and Inter, but nevertheless, his potential is rated among the highest in the game.
Given his reputation and the number of clubs closely looking at him, his price could explode should he hit a hot run of form.
