Manchester United remain interested in Bologna winger Dan Ndoye, according to Italian media.

The Swiss international announced himself to a larger audience with some brilliant performances at Euro 2024, in the wake of which he began being associated with a potential Premier League move.

Man Utd were linked with Ndoye at the time, but the 24-year-old ultimately decided to remain at Bologna, having just helped them qualify for the Champions League.

To many at Old Trafford, Ndoye will be a familiar face. The winger previously suited up for INEOS' other two clubs, Nice and Lausanne-Sport, before moving to Bologna via Basel.

The 2024/25 season has once again been a successful one for Ndoye and Bologna as they have managed to win their first Coppa Italia since 1974, thus qualifying for the Europa League despite recently dropping out of Serie A's European places.

Man Utd keen on Ndoye

According to Tuttosport, scouts from Man Utd and Chelsea were in attendance at the Coppa Italia final against Milan, and they watched Ndoye score the all-important goal that sealed the title for Bologna.

The Italian outlet claims that both clubs hold an interest in the 24-year-old, but it seems that a reunion with INEOS boss Sir Jim Ratcliffe is unlikely.

The report states that Bologna can 'sleep soundly' because the club are currently enjoying the best years of their modern history, and Ndoye is evidently not desperate to leave.

Moreover, there are considerations of handing him a bumper new deal to 'shield him' from suitors. His current contract still runs until 2027, so Bologna feel very secure in their present position.

The Swiss has scored nine goals and provided six assists this term and has become something of a cult hero for the Serie A side. He is not the most prolific forward, but he steps up in big moments.
