Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is subject to interest from a host of top clubs across Europe, according to his agent Joao Santos.

The former Napoli midfielder has played all 180 minutes of Italy’s Euro 2020 campaign thus far on the back of a Champions League-winning campaign with the Blues.

This success has led to a number of clubs enquiring about the 29-year-old, though Santos insists Jorginho’s mind is fully concentrated on the European Championships.

“Jorginho is very well, he has won the Europa League and the Champions League, and now the goal is to win the Euros,” he told Radio Marte.

“He is focused on this and wants to play all the remaining seven games of the European Championship.

“Obviously, he won the Champions League, and therefore there are enquiries from the main teams in Europe.”

The Brazilian-born Italian made the switch from Napoli to Chelsea alongside then-manager Maurizio Sarri in 2018, causing a stir by turning his back on a transfer to Manchester City.

Could Jorginho be set to leave Chelsea?

He has been linked with a return to Italy, but despite those comments, Santos sees his clients future remaining at Stamford Bridge for next season.

In my opinion, he’ll stay at Chelsea next year. The next goal is to make the World Cup in Qatar with Italy – by staying at Chelsea, he has great chances to do so.

As well as a return home, Barcelona have been reported as harbouring interest in the midfielder in recent seasons.

Jorginho became a key player in Chelsea’s evolution under Thomas Tuchel, playing in every Champions League game bar one due to suspension, and featuring heavily in the league under the German.

After lifting the European Cup, Chelsea will once again strengthen in the summer and will set their sights on a return to the top of the Premier League for the first time in five seasons, and Jorginho will undoubtedly remain a crucial part of any such efforts.
