Juventus open Darwin Nunez talks
Juventus have reached out to Liverpool to ask for information about Darwin Nunez.
Alfredo Pedulla reports that Juventus have contacted Liverpool to ask about the conditions of a possible move for Nunez.
The Bianconeri's first target for the attack remains Randal Kolo Muani, who spent the second half of last season on loan from PSG.
Juventus have been in talks with PSG all summer about keeping Muani for at least another season in Turin but the two clubs have struggled to come to an agreement.
Nunez to Juventus
Juventus are still hopeful of extending Muani's stay - especially as the player wants to remain - but the Bianconeri now have Nunez as a backup target.
Napoli tried to sign Nunez earlier this summer but pulled out of negotiations as they weren't prepared to meet Liverpool's asking price of over €50 million.
Nunez is available for transfer and wants to remain in Europe, having already rejected offers from Saudi Arabia.
Nunez joined Liverpool from Benfica in 2022 for a fee of up to €100 million.
However, he has disappointed by scoring only 40 goals in 143 games. Last season he managed just seven goals in all competitions from 47 games.
