Arsenal want Mora and Miller

Arsenal are interested in North American wonderkids Gilberto Mora and Peyton Miller, TEAMtalk claims.

Mexico international Mora plays his club football at Tijuana and is regarded as one of the best prospects in world football. The playmaker turns 18 next week and is expected to move to Europe next year.

Recent reports have claimed that he is closing in on a €40m+ agreement to leave Tijuana. However, it was previously suggested that his release clause stands at just €25m. He was granted this exit mechanism when he signed a "historic" new contract prior to the World Cup.

Miller, meanwhile, made his senior US debut during this international break after starring for the New England Revolution for the past two years. Previously a left-back, the 18-year-old has become one of the most exciting wingers in MLS this season.

Madueke offers expected

Arsenal are likely to receive January approaches for Noni Madueke, The Telegraph understands.

The winger only joined from Chelsea for €56m last year, but he is struggling for minutes this season, which is attracting the attention of Champions League suitors.

Atletico Madrid and Juventus have both expressed an interest in Madueke, and more clubs will likely come forward if his situation doesn't change. Should he become available in January, an initial loan exit would be the most realistic scenario.

Groundwork laid for Nusa, Yildiz deals

Arsenal are "laying the groundwork" for an attacking signing in January, as per CaughtOffside.

The Gunners failed to bring in a marquee left-winger in the summer, only signing Christos Tzolis while selling both Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli. This is to be rectified in 2027, ideally as early as January.

Arsenal have retained their long-standing interest in RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa and Juventus superstar Kenan Yildiz, and they are plotting mid-season approaches to see if a signing is feasible.

Alvarez to change agent

Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez is looking for a new agent after his summer transfer saga, AS has confirmed.

The Argentina international was one of the most in-demand players in the previous transfer window, but he ultimately had to stay at Atleti because his club refused to do business with LaLiga rivals Barcelona, whom Alvarez was desperate to join.

Arsenal also held talks with the striker, but he was not keen to return to England. The 26-year-old is now expected to drop his long-time agent Fernando Hidalgo after this debacle and could sign with former PSG midfielder Javier Pastore, who represents Enzo Fernandez.

Matanovic interest

Arsenal are among the clubs keeping tabs on SC Freiburg striker Igor Matanovic, TEAMtalk writes.

The Croatia international has enjoyed a red-hot 2026 calendar year and is being tracked by numerous Premier League clubs. In the summer, both Man Utd and Tottenham briefly explored a possible transfer.

Arsenal are now also monitoring the 23-year-old's exploits, but Freiburg are under no pressure to sell and reportedly value Matanovic at a whopping €60m. The same outlet has also linked the Gunners with Inter striker Pio Esposito and Real Madrid starlet Endrick.
