Chelsea to receive MIND-BLOWING Enzo Fernandez offer
Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a €150 million offer for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez as they look to finally sign the Argentina international this summer.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu for several years and Los Blancos are now ready to submit an official bid before the end of the 2025 summer transfer window.
That is according to Fichajes, who claim that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is eager to sign Fernandez for €150m this summer, having failed to purchase him during his time at River Plate.
Xabi Alonso reportedly sees Fernandez as the ideal player to partner Aurelien Tchouameni in a deep midfield role, while Real Madrid could fund a move for the Argentina superstar by selling Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga and Fran Garcia.
Los Blancos lost the Spanish top flight title to Barcelona last season and they were dumped out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage after a humiliating 5-1 aggregate loss to Arsenal.
In a bid to fight for major honours once again next season, Real Madrid are reportedly set to pursue a move for Fernandez - who boasts an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €75.5m.
However, Chelsea are extremely unlikely to sanction a sale.
Will Chelsea sell Enzo Fernandez?
Fernandez, who still has seven years remaining on his current contract at Chelsea, has established himself as one of the club’s most important players since his arrival from Benfica in January 2023.
The Argentine made 53 appearances across all competitions last term, scoring nine goals and providing 17 assists, while he is viewed as an indispensable star by Enzo Maresca.
Chelsea paid a Premier League record fee of €121m to land Fernandez after his sublime form at the 2022 World Cup and he would become the third-most expensive player in football history if Real Madrid succeed with a €150m offer this summer.
