Man Utd ready to splash out €100m with transfer ‘IMMINENT’

Manchester United’s transfer window is about to click into another gear after the Old Trafford club already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves.
Ruben Amorim’s side are ‘accelerating’ to complete three more deals, including two signings worth €100 million, according to a report from Spain.
Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres has once again emerged as a leading candidate for Amorim, who is desperate for the Sweden international forward to hook up with the team after a move for Liam Delap fell through. The Red Devils are thought to be ready to pay €70m to sign one of the No.9s who has been most discussed ahead of the transfer window, Fichajes says.
It was revealed on Thursday that Gyokeres has no concerns about United missing out on European football and is open to the move.
Man Utd are also set to be reinforced by the signing of Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez. The World Cup winner is tipped to make a move worth €30m to the Red Devils.
The Argentine is coming off the back of a tricky season with Unai Emery’s side, where he was not at his very best for long periods. Now 32, Martinez’s Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has dropped to €16.6m, suggesting that Man Utd may be overpaying for him.

Antony exit close as transfer fee revealed
Heading in the opposite direction out of Manchester United is winger Antony, who failed to ignite following a €95m move from Ajax in 2022.
The Brazilian did, however, enjoy a successful loan spell at Real Betis in the second half of the season and could leave for €50m this summer.
Clubs are gathering to bid for the 25-year-old, with Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen joining Betis in enquiring after the player. Antony’s exit is said to be “imminent”, according to the Spanish source, although in reality it may be days or even weeks before a move is made official.
