Arsenal Transfer News Today: Gunners make 'CONCRETE' Gyokeres offer after major exit hint

All the latest Arsenal transfer news in one place, including updates on Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres and Rodrygo.
Arsenal make ‘concrete’ Gyokeres bid
Arsenal have made a concrete offer to Sporting for Viktor Gyokeres, according to reports in Portugal.
Gyokeres is one of Arsenal’s top targets to strengthen the number nine position and Sporting’s president spoke insisted this week that an offer of €60 million plus €10m in add-ons would be rejected.
However, Arsenal have seemingly called the Portuguese side’s bluff by offering €55m plus €10m in bonuses, according to Record.
The offer was presented this week, at a meeting in Spain between Gunners' sporting director, Andrea Berta, a lawyer for Arsenal and Sporting's general director of football, Bernardo Palmeiro, although it is expected to be rejected with another bid likely to follow.
Exclusive: Arsenal face key Sesko decision that could unlock Rodrygo signing
Arsenal are preparing for crucial internal discussions this week that will shape their summer transfer business, with two high-profile targets - Benjamin Sesko and Real Madrid’s Rodrygo - at the centre of the conversation.

Sources close to the club have revealed to FootballTransfers that Mikel Arteta is convinced about signing Rodrygo, the Brazilian winger, and is eager to bring him to the Emirates.
However, Arsenal’s pursuit of the 24-year-old is heavily dependent on how they structure their ongoing negotiations with RB Leipzig for striker Benjamin Sesko, whose €80 million release clause presents a significant financial challenge.
The Gunners are actively trying to work out a deal with Leipzig that would allow them to manage the budget required to complete both transfers. The coming week will see Arsenal’s hierarchy weigh up the possibilities, looking for a way to secure Sesko’s signature while leaving room to pursue Rodrygo.
Partey hints at Arsenal exit
Thomas Partey has hinted he could leave Arsenal this summer after suggesting finances will play a part in the decision over his future as ‘we all have a family that needs money.’
FootballTransfers understands that Partey has stalled on signing a new contract amid transfer interest from Barcelona, while the impending arrival of Martin Zubimendi may limit the Ghanian’s game time and he refused to commit his future to the Gunners while speaking on international duty.
“The first thing is where you are happy and where you feel at home,” he told 3Sports. “At the end of the day you’ve been in football, you’ve been in different teams. Then it’s about what is your next objective and what do you want to achieve next.
“You still have to look at all this and at the end of the day we all have a family that needs money, this is [in] our mind. We are not getting younger. There are a lot of things where you have to look now with a family, where you want them to be happy.
“When you go out, nobody is going to destroy your family, these are things you have to look at. When you are young, you are just anywhere. I’m an Arsenal fan, I can’t decide anything and just have to leave it to my agent and the club. I just want to enjoy football.”
Gabriel wants ‘phenomenon’ Rodrygo at Arsenal
Gabriel Magalhaes has admitted he would love Rodrygo to join him at Arsenal ‘if it were up to’ him, with the Brazilian describing the Real Madrid star as a ‘phenomenon’.
Rodrygo has been heavily speculated to leave Real Madrid this summer after a disappointing season and Arsenal are among the clubs said to be heavily pursuing his signature.

Appearing on the Podpah podcast in Brazil, Gabriel was asked if Rodrygo was set for a move to the Gunners, to which he replied: “I don’t know. But I’d like it obviously. Rodrygo is a phenomenon for me. He’s not at Arsenal but they’re saying his name a lot.
“If it was up to me? Of course! I already told the guys. I even said to the director Rodrygo is a phenomenon!”
