The special transfer window for the FIFA Club World Cup closed on 10 June – but not before a rush of deals across the teams competing in the tournament.

As many as 60 new faces could be involved for teams across the tournament, with many of the 32 participants busy in the transfer market to get deals done.

Manchester City spent the most money, splashing out €135 million on four new faces before the tournament begins, pushing Premier League rivals Chelsea into second. The Blues still managed to spend €81.8m, underlining their desire to impress in the US.

When it comes to volume, Al Ain and Red Bull Salzburg are the teams to beat, both having signed seven players in the 10-day transfer window before the competition.
