FPL price changes: Which Fantasy Premier League players have increased the most in price in 2023-24?

James Maddison and Matty Cash have increased in price by the largest amount since the beginning of the 2023-24 Fantasy Premier League season.

Maddison has shone since his summer move to Tottenham and his FPL price rise has reflected that, with the England international now £8.1 million having started the campaign at £7.5m.

As for Cash, he started the year as a £4.5m asset but is now priced at £5.1m.

Maddison has scored 47 FPL points this year - the fifth most of any midfielder - and has produced attacking returns in five of Tottenham's eight matches so far.

Cash has the fourth-highest FPL points tally of any defender this year (36) and is owned by over 30% of managers. He is now the third-most owned defender in the game.

Which players have increased the most in price in FPL 2023-24?

Julian Alvarez has seen his price rise by the third-largest amount this season. The Man City forward started the campaign at £6.5m but is now £7m in FPL.

Furthermore, Spurs star Son Heung-min has also risen in price by £0.5m - from £9m to £9.5m.

Kieran Trippier, Joachim Andersen and Destiny Udogie have increased by £0.4m, while there are a number of players to have been rewarded with £0.3m increases, including Jarrod Bowen (West Ham), Kyle Walker (Man City) and James Ward-Prowse (West Ham).

Which player has scored the most FPL points so far this season?

Ollie Watkins and Mohamed Salah have the most FPL points of any player so far this year. The pair both have 59 points, which is only narrowly more than Erling Haaland (55).

As a result, Watkins leads the way for FPL forward, ahead of Haaland and Julian Alvarez (48).

Salah has the most FPL points of any midfielder (59), narrowly beating Son Heung-min (54), Bukayo Saka (53) and Jarrod Bowen (50).

Joachim Andersen (51) has scored the highest number of FPL points from a defender, just ahead of Kieran Trippier (49) and Ben White (45).

Bernd Leno and Sam Johnstone lead the way for goalkeepers. They have both taken home 38 FPL points so far this campaign, more than Guglielmo Vicario (36), Robert Sanchez (35) and Alphonse Areola (33).
