Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana could be already leaving the club, less than a month after signing.

Fofana joined in a €10 million deal from Norwegian club Molde earlier in the window.

However, he could be sent on loan before tonight's deadline, a tactic the Blues regularly employ when it comes to young players.

Foot Mercato are reporting that Nice and Bayer Leverkusen, of Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga, respectively, are interested in the forward.

A loan would be in Fofana's best interests but it would leave Chelsea short on attacking options.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is out of favour under manager Graham Potter, while Kai Havertz is still struggling to find consistency.

Atletico Madrid loanee Joao Felix can also play up front, though it is not his favourite position.

Jorginho leaves Chelsea

Jorginho will leave Chelsea in a £12 million deal to Arsenal on transfer deadline day.

The two clubs have agreed on a small fee as the midfielder's contract at Stamford Bridge was due to expire in the summer.

Jorginho had not been offered a new deal, with Chelsea preferring to extend N'golo Kante's stay.

The Italy international will now sign for Mikel Arteta's Arsenal on an 18-month contract, with an option of a further year.

The Premier League leaders turned their attention to Jorginho after a potential club-record move for Brighton's Moises Caicedo broke down.

The Seagulls wanted well in excess of the £70 million Arsenal were prepared of pay for the 21-year-old.
