The 2026 January transfer window has closed, with Premier League sides keeping busy throughout the winter and completing some blockbuster big-money deals.

Several high-profile English top-flight players were linked with January moves, and some teams have spent big yet again as they look to end the 2025-26 campaign on a high note.

Antoine Semenyo became the biggest transfer of the winter window when he completed a €72 million move to Man City on 9 January after choosing to join Pep Guardiola's side as his preferred destination over Manchester United. He was later joined by Marc Guehi at the Etihad.

Aston Villa, meanwhile, signed Gremio prospect Alysson, Metz youngster Brian Madjo, Besiktas striker Tammy Abraham and Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz. Donyell Malen left for AS Roma on loan.

Crystal Palace broke their club record twice, first on Brennan Johnson, then again on Jorgen Strand Larsen, in a bid to show ambition to head coach Oliver Glasner, but it hasn't been enough to stop him from leaving at the end of the season. Evann Guessand also joined on loan from Villa.

Spurs reacted to Rodrigo Bentancur's injury with the signing of long-term target Conor Gallagher, who joined from Atletico Madrid in a €40m deal. They also signed Souza from Santos and completed a surprising loan for Hearts prospect James Wilson.

Rivals Arsenal sent youngster Ethan Nwaneri on loan to Marseille to help him get game time under his belt, while Oleksandr Zinchenko joined Ajax permanently.

In West London, Chelsea terminated the contract of Raheem Sterling and sent a host of youngsters out on loan, while Fulham signed Oscar Bobb from Man City.

West Ham had a very busy January. Pablo Felipe, Taty Castellanos, Keiber Lamadrid and Adama Traore all joined. Lucas Paqueta, Niclas Fullkrug, Luis Guilherme, Guido Rodriguez, Andy Irving and more departed.

Former Barcelona full-back Julian Araujo left Bournemouth for Celtic, while Fraser Forster, Alex Toth, Christos Mandas and Rayan joined the Cherries. Elsewhere on the South Coast, Pascal Gross surprisingly rejoined Brighton from Borussia Dortmund.

In the Northeast, Sunderland successfully hijacked Celtic's move for Maccabi Netanya winger Jocelin Ta Bi and replaced Simon Adingra, who joined Monaco, with Nilson Angulo from Anderlecht.
