Transfer News LIVE - Every rumour, every done deal: Deadline Day success and failure

Now that the domestic season is over for all major European leagues, clubs can now focus on their preparations for the 2025/26 campaign, with a natural focus on recruitment.
The big spenders will be out in force again, with Real Madrid looking to back new boss Xabi Alonso, Chelsea keen to improve again after securing Champions League qualification, and Manchester United desperate to reclaim some kind of success after a disastrous season that saw them finish just three places above the relegation zone in the Premier League.
With the Club World Cup starting in a few days, clubs had to sign players before 10th June to ensure they could play in that tournament, so we did see some big deals happen earlier than usual this year.
Some questions that will hang over the transfer window this season:
- Will Viktor Gyokeres leave Sporting CP?
- Who will sign Victor Osimhen?
- How much can Barcelona spend?
- Will top players want to join Man Utd?
- Will Arsenal sign a world-class striker?

Striker options for Man Utd
City close to Nypan signing
Man City are close to announcing a deal for Sverre Nypan.
The 18-year-old is viewed as one of the best young players in Europe at the moment and has been attracting interest from elite clubs for some time.
Arsenal were previously linked with a move, but City will soon announce the £12.5m acquisition of the player. (Athletic)

Should Man Utd replace Onana?
Newcastle and Everton lead Grealish race
Newcastle and Everton are believed to be leading the race to sign Jack Grealish.
The winger will leave Man City this summer after being left out of the squad for the Club World Cup by manager Pep Guardiola.
City want £50 million for the player which seems ambitious, with a loan deal more likely also due to Grealish's high wages.
Saudi Pro League sides as well as former club Aston Villa, Milan and Napoli have all been linked previously. (Football Insider)

Andy Robertson unsure about Liverpool future
Andy Robertson is unsure if he will sign a new contract with Liverpool but doesn't want to look too far ahead into the future.
“We have discussed. We’ve had good discussions, me and the club. But what the future holds I’m not sure,” he told Sky Sports News.
“All I know is [on Friday] I fly off on holiday and it’s well needed, I need a rest after a long season. And then I look forward to pre-season. That’s all my focus is.
“I can’t look too far ahead, I never have done and I’m not going to start now. I know the position I’m in, I’ve only got a year left and a lot is getting said but my pure focus is focusing on being a dad for the next couple of weeks and enjoying that time with the kids and then try to come back in the best shape possible for pre-season and see what the future holds when the decisions come.”
The Scot's contract at Liverpool expires in 2026, while the Reds are set to sign left-back Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth.

Liverpool to spend, spend, spend!
Liverpool are on the cusp of signing both Florian Wirtz from Leverkusen and Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth.
But, the spending might not stop there.
The Sun reports that the Reds are targeting another forward in the form of Champions League winner Bradley Barcola, however Paris Saint-Germain have no intention of letting him go and so have slapped a €120m price tag on his head.
Duran could LEAVE Saudi after just six months
Jhon Duran could be set for a sensational exit from Al-Nassr after just six months in the Saudi Pro League.
In a mammoth January transfer window deal, the Colombian left Aston Villa for Al-Nassr for a fee of €77 million. However, he is reportedly unsettled playing in Saudi Arabia and his mental and physical state are suffering because of that.
Duran could be set for a sensational loan return to the Premier League, with former club Villa interested in a deal, but the situation is complicated by his high wages as well as UK tax laws. (Arriyadiyah)
