Transfer Deadline Day for the 2026 winter window is officially here and a number of high-profile deals are expected to be completed today.
Chelsea remain in negotiations over a deal for Stade Rennais defender Jeremy Jacquet, Liverpool are locked in discussions over a move for RB Leipzig's Lutsharel Geertruida, who is on loan at Sunderland, and Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta is set to join AC Milan.

Several major transfers have already been announced since the beginning of the January window, with Manchester City notably signing Antoine Semenyo and Marc Guehi, Endrick joining Lyon on loan from Real Madrid and Tammy Abraham returning to Aston Villa.
However, with less than 24 hours of the window remaining, clubs across Europe are now scrambling to finalise late deals as they look to bolster their squads for the rest of the season.
The 2026 winter transfer window will officially close at 19:00 BST for all clubs in the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1, while La Liga teams will have until 22:59 BST to finalise their business.
