L’Equipe  was wat voorbarig met het bod van 28 miljoen euro Igor Paixao, maar Feyenoord weet dat Olympique Marseille al langere tijd bezig is met Igor Paixão. De vraag nu is hoe ver de Fransen daadwerkelijk willen gaan. Met nog een contract tot 2029, opgeteld bij zijn waarde in het veld, komt 28 miljoen niet in de buurt van het bedrag dat Feyenoord wil hebben, zeker niet nu Olympique het bij elkaar goochelt met een huur-koop-constructie.
