Bargain Casado fee?

Man Utd could sign Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado for as little as €20 million this summer, MARCA claims.

The La Masia graduate is on the market after struggling to secure a regular starting spot last season, with Barcelona open to cashing in on him in a bid to fund incoming business. Curiously, though, they only value him at €20m.

Man Utd are "showing the most interest," but they have not yet submitted an offer. The Red Devils already enquired about Casado in January, so there is a genuine attraction to the player. However, Barcelona want to sell before 30 June, and no progress has so far been made on that front.

Rashford revelation causes surprise

The revelation that Marcus Rashford has a release clause at Man Utd caused surprise in the agents industry, as per The Sun.

It is believed that this information was leaked by a senior figure at the club in a bid to inform suitors that if they want Rashford, they can have him, but revealing such confidential information has caused a stir.

There is also a sense that the £40m (€46m) value of the clause is a red herring and that Man Utd are actually prepared to sell for significantly less as they are desperate to get Rashford and his huge salary off the books.

Summerville interest confirmed

Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Man Utd are genuinely interested in West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville.

The Netherlands international has emerged as an option for the left-wing, which is a priority for Man Utd this summer, albeit not the most pressing one. It is believed that Man Utd have been quoted a price of just under €60m.

Romano has confirmed that Man Utd are keen, but they are far from his only suitors this summer. "Man Utd are one of the clubs interested in Crescencio Summerville," he said.

"He scored for the Netherlands at the World Cup and several clubs are following him closely. United have already been speaking with West Ham regarding Mateus Fernandes and during those conversations they also asked for information on Summerville.

"Paris Saint-Germain made a call last week to understand the situation too because they could add another winger if Bradley Barcola leaves. And I would also keep an eye on other Premier League clubs because there is strong interest around Summerville."
