Done Deals: AC Milan sign Ramos and every official completed transfer around Europe today
The 2026 summer transfer window is officially open and a plethora of huge deals have already been announced as the biggest clubs in Europe look to spend big yet again.
Barcelona have completed the most expensive signing of the summer so far, purchasing Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon for €80 million, while El Clasico rivals Real Madrid have also been very active in the market.
Los Blancos have signed Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella for €55m, and they have also completed Bosman deals for Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva and Liverpool centre-back Ibrahima Konate. Meanwhile, the arrival of Denzel Dumfries is expected to be announced after the World Cup, and Enzo Fernandez could join the club too as he looks to leave Chelsea.
In the Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur have been the busiest club so far, signing Brighton & Hove Albion's Jan Paul van Hecke for €60m, and Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka on free transfers. Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes could arrive before the end of the summer window too. Manchester United also want to sign the latter.
Liverpool have signed Stade Rennais centre-back Jeremy Jacquet to replace Konate, while Chelsea have added Geovany Quenda, Denner, Dastan Satpaev and Emmanuel Emegha. They are also expected to sign Marco Palestra and Valentin Barco from Atalanta and Strasbourg, respectively, while they are keen to finalise deals for Crystal Palace’s Maxence Lacroix and Rayo Vallecano’s Pep Chavarria.
Manchester City have finalised an agreement to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson for a club-record fee, and they are also interested in Ayyoub Bouaddi, who has been the breakout star of the World Cup.
Liverpool, however, are set to miss out on top target Yan Diomande, who wants to complete a move to PSG. Meanwhile, Arsenal are leading the race to sign Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.
