Man Utd eye new striker

Manchester United are lining up a move for Levante sensation Karl Etta Eyong, who is considered Europe's most wanted striker right now.

Etta Eyong has made a spectacular start to the season in Spain. He began the campaign with Villarreal, scoring once in three games, before completing a €3 million switch to Levante, where he has taken his game to a new level.

The 21-year-old Cameroon international has scored five goals in seven games with his new club and Fichajes reports that Man Utd see him as the ideal replacement for Joshua Zirkzee, if the Dutchman leaves in January.

Bellingham to Man Utd update

Borussia Dortmund boss Niko Kovac has showered Manchester United target Jobe Bellingham with praise amid ongoing links with a move to Old Trafford.

The England youth international has endured a difficult start to life in Germany following a €30.5 million transfer from Sunderland and his father, Mark, cast a shadow over him with an outburst at sporting director Sebastian Kehl and coach Niko Kovac in August.

However, Kovac has admitted that he wants Bellingham to stay at the club. “I really have no doubts about him - quite the opposite,” he told reporters. “We are building him up step by step. In fact, it is going even faster than I expected because the boy has so much quality.”
