FootballTransfers understands that Arsenal are not looking to sell oft-injured striker Gabriel Jesus, and are instead planning to offer him a contract extension.

His current deal runs until 2027, and there have already been talks over a one-year extension. Mikel Arteta feels that Jesus' unique skillset and Premier League experience make him a player worth keeping.

The Gunners believe that they would struggle to get value for money for the forward and appreciate that he is a popular figure in the dressing room.

Arsenal looking to sign four

Arsenal are currently holding talks over as many as four incoming deals. Negotiations with RB Leipzig for Benjamin Sesko are said to be advancing, although an agreement is not expected before next week.

The Gunners are also expected to finally complete the signing of Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi after the international break, with his arrival said to 'accelerate' after the Nations League.

Real Madrid winger Rodrygo has been made Arsenal's new top target for the left flank, and several key figures at the club have already had discussions with him about a potential transfer. However, before making a decision, he first wants to speak to Xabi Alonso to get clarity on his prospects of playing time next season.

Lastly, Arsenal have opened talks with Chelsea outcast Kepa Arrizabalaga as they look for a backup to David Raya. The Spaniard has become their preferred option between the sticks.

Victor Boniface

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Bayer Leverkusen will sell striker Victor Boniface should a suitable offer come in this summer. The Nigerian was already close to leaving in January, but Saudi side Al-Nassr ultimately opted to sign Jhon Duran instead.

While there are no links to Arsenal, data from SciSports suggests that the 24-year-old would be a good fit for the Gunners. The analytics firm believes that Boniface has a higher ceiling than Benjamin Sesko.

The Leverkusen man would also likely be a cheaper option than Sesko. However, there are concerns over his fitness, while he has also made some negative headlines with his antics.
