Ten Hag plots INCREDIBLE Man Utd raid for star Amorim wants gone

New Bayer Leverkusen head coach Erik ten Hag is keen to reunite with Manchester United outcast Alejandro Garnacho, according to a sensational report.
The Argentine winger has been bluntly told to leave the club by head coach Ruben Amorim after hitting out at the Portuguese over his lack of minutes in the Europa League final.
Garnacho cut an apathetic figure on Man Utd's post-season trip to Malaysia, and he was omitted for the club's embarrassing 1-0 friendly loss to the ASEAN All-stars on Wednesday.
His time at Old Trafford is over, and the speculation surrounding his next move is already in full swing. Chelsea and Napoli wanted him in January but ultimately baulked at Man Utd's €70 million asking price.
This summer, Garnacho is expected to be available for a lower fee as Man Utd are desperate to cash in on him, and both sides are again credited with an interest.
Ten Hag wants Garnacho
However, Chelsea and Napoli are not the only clubs said to be keen on the 20-year-old. TEAMtalk has now added AC Milan to his list of suitors and, intriguingly, Bayer Leverkusen.
It is claimed that new Bayer boss Erik ten Hag wants to reunite with his former protégé. Garnacho made almost a century of appearances under the Dutchman, scoring 20 goals and notching 15 assists.

The report states that Leverkusen already made contact with Garnacho's camp several weeks ago, so even before Ten Hag was appointed. With the 55-year-old now in charge, the 2024 Bundesliga champions are 'serious' contenders to sign him.
However, it is asserted that Man Utd are demanding €60m for the Argentine, which casts huge doubt on the viability of a move to Leverkusen. There is no way that the German club will almost double their previous transfer record on a player who is increasingly garnering a negative reputation.
Even with up to €150 million coming their way via the anticipated sale of Florian Wirtz to Liverpool, Leverkusen will not be drawn into making risky signings that could jeopardise their long-term financial sustainability. They are gearing up for a massive summer rebuild and will surely not splurge most of their budget on just one player.
