Chelsea have reportedly cooled their interest in Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho in order to focus their attention on completing a deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens.
The west London giants are aiming to sign a new left winger before the start of the 2025-26 campaign and CaughtOffside claim that Garnacho has fallen behind Gittens on their wish-list.
Chelsea made contact to sign the Man Utd star in January, but they are now prioritising a move for Gittens, despite his lack of game time at Dortmund in recent months.
Leroy Sane offer
Meanwhile, Chelsea are among the clubs to have been offered the chance to sign Leroy Sane on a Bosman deal this summer.
The Germany international had been expected to sign a new contract at Bayern Munich, but talks have reportedly stalled and he has been offered to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, according to Fussball Transfers.
Jonathan David interest
Chelsea are considering a move for Lille forward Jonathan David this summer, who will be available on a Bosman deal this summer.
That is according to Blues journalist Simon Phillips, who claims that Chelsea are interested in a possible move for David, largely due to the fact he is available on a free transfer.
The Canada international has scored 25 goals in 48 appearances so far this season, and Napoli are also eager to land him.
Liverpool chase Christopher Nkunku
Liverpool have made contact with Christopher Nkunku as they eye a possible move for the Chelsea attacker this summer.
The France international has struggled to break into Chelsea’s favoured starting XI this campaign and a move to Anfield is on the cards, as per Foot Mercato.
Bayern Munich and Newcastle United are also reportedly keeping tabs on Nkunku ahead of a potential summer pursuit.

Joao Pedro interest
Chelsea have rekindled their interest in Brighton & Hove Albion forward Joao Pedro ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
That is according to The Telegraph, who claim that Enzo Maresca’s side will battle Arsenal and Liverpool for the Brazilian signature once the 2024-25 campaign concludes.
