Viktor Gyokeres' Arsenal salary revealed

Arsenal have offered Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres a salary worth around €8.3 million, according to Portuguese media.
The Swedish sharpshooter has become the Gunners' undisputed top target for the No.9 position following the arrival of Andrea Berta as Arsenal's sporting director.
The Italian recruitment guru wants to help the North London club wants to help the Premier League giants finally get over the hump and claim major silverware, and he believes that this can only be achieved by adding experienced and proven world-class players to the squad.
With Alexander Isak unattainable and Benjamin Sesko still unproven outside of the Bundesliga, Berta is going all-in on Gyokeres, who will be allowed to leave Sporting CP for around €70 million this summer despite boasting a €100m release clause.
Man Utd are still in the race to sign the 26-year-old as they are coached by his former mentor Ruben Amorim, but Arsenal are seen as the clear favourites to sign him.
Arsenal make Gyokeres contract offer
According to A Bola, Arsenal are offering Gyokeres an annual salary of €8.3m to entice him to move to the Emirates. While certainly a handsome sum, it is a surprising amount for a marquee striker signing.
Gyokeres would not even break into the top 10 of Arsenal's highest earners, according to Capology. The likes of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ben White and Gabriel Martinelli all earn well above €8.3m figure per year.

The Portuguese outlet states that Arsenal have yet to make a formal offer to Sporting for Gyokeres, although this is not a surprise. The Lisbon giants are still involved in a fierce battle with Benfica for the league title and will not entertain negotiations at this crucial juncture of the season.
The two city rivals are level on points heading into the final matchday of the Portuguese top-flight season, with Benfica travelling to Braga and Sporting, who are ahead on goal difference, hosting Vitoria Guimaraes.
Gyokeres, it is claimed, has his heart set on a move to Arsenal, with the Gunners having managed to 'grab' him ‘emotionally and even financially.’
