Alejandro Garnacho: The Premier League club where Man Utd's 'new Ronaldo' can unlock his potential

Alejandro Garnacho will leave Manchester United this summer with the aim of reinvigorating his career elsewhere.
Although one of the Red Devils’ better performers this season, a strained relationship with head coach Ruben Amorim seems to have finally forced the Argentine out of Old Trafford.
He will leave having contributed 26 goals and 22 assists in 144 games since breaking through as a young player.
Despite this, Garnacho will depart his Man Utd stint with a feeling of unfulfilled potential.
“He’s a superstar in the making... He’s very much the way Cristiano Ronaldo was as a young player,” club legend Paul Scholes once said.
Rumours are already widespread as to where Garnacho could wind up. Napoli and Chelsea are naturally interested given they followed the player in January, while Arsenal, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are just some of the teams linked with the 20-year-old.
What next for Garnacho?
According to data analytics experts SciSports, there are few sure things when it comes to Garnacho’s next side.
Using the firm’s Career Advice model, which judges potential moves based on a wide variety of factors including potential development, playing time, style and formation, there is one standout option in the Premier League.
Aston Villa are clearly the best option for Garnacho when it comes to developing his career. Unai Emery’s side have a Club Fit score of 80 – well clear of any other team.
The Birmingham side mark well across the board, notably earning four stars when it comes to development and playing time.
Indeed, Villa are one of just four teams to earn a rating of 70 or higher. Interestingly, the other three clubs to hit this figure all come from Serie A: Roma (74), Inter Milan (71) and Juventus (71). These teams are generally thought to be a more awkward fit for Garnacho in terms of playing style and formation.

But what of the other Premier League giants?
Arsenal are clearly considered the best option among these clubs, earning a Club Fit score of 69. While the Gunners can offer him excellent development opportunities, Garnacho would struggle to get game time in Mikel Arteta’s first team SciSports believes.
By comparison, Chelsea earn a Club Fit score of 57, with Enzo Maresca’s side struggling across the board with the exception of formation, where they score five stars.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the race for Garnacho is very much open at this early stage of the summer, but there’s little doubt he would be an excellent addition for Villa.
