Concrete bid for Man Utd transfer target
Rennes striker Kader Meite, who has been tracked heavily by Manchester United, has had a concrete bid made for him.
If the Red Devils are to swoop for the 18-year-old No.9, they will have to beat competition from the Saudi Pro League, where Al-Hilal have tabled an offer.
Former Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez is currently the Saudi club’s top option, but if they fail to land him they could well move for a player who has previously been linked to both Chelsea and Man Utd. More on the story here.

Chelsea ready to make first January signing
Chelsea have been unusually quiet in the transfer market, but that could all be about to change, with new manager Liam Rosenior campaigning for a couple of new signings.
Rosenior wants the Blues to push to sign a new central defender, with Rennes’ Jeremy Jacquet and Como’s Jacobo Ramon the two leading candidates.

Man City give green light for Marmoush to make Spurs move
Manchester City are ready to offload attacker Omar Marmoush, with Tottenham a likely destination for the Egypt international attacker.
Marmoush has struggled for game time just a year after he arrived at the club, with the signing of Antoine Semenyo pushing him further down the pecking order.
Spurs are targeting the €79 million-rated attacker, who would become their second major signing of January, following Conor Gallagher.

Guehi joins Man City
Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi is on the verge of completing a move to Man City, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Cityzens made a big push for the England star on Friday morning and agreed personal terms with the player. They then managed to agree a fee in excess of €20 million that can potentially rise north of €30m in add-ons.
Palace boss Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Guehi will not be involved against Sunderland this weekened due to his impending transfer.
