Arsenal make Diomande enquiry

Arsenal have made an "exploratory" enquiry for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, Ben Jacobs understands.

The Ivory Coast international is among the options Arsenal are considering for the left wing. However, Diomande favours playing on the right, and he is keen to join PSG this summer.

The 19-year-old has already agreed terms with the Parisians on a five-year contract, but there has been no breakthrough in club-to-club discussions, with Leipzig determined to keep him for another year.

City close in on Bouaddi

Man City are "closing in" on the signing of Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, TEAMtalk claims.

The Etihad club believe that they have won the race for the Morocco sensation after accelerating their talks with the player's camp and Lille, who are demanding a fee of €100 million to let him leave this summer.

City are on the verge of agreeing a deal with Lille that would see Bouaddi become the most expensive teenager in the history of football. The player has bought into City's long-term vision for his development.

Liverpool step up Akliouche chase

Liverpool have begun exploring the feasibility of a deal for AS Monaco winger Maghnes Akliouche, Sky Sports reports.

The 24-year-old France international is a key target for PSG this summer, but the Ligue 1 champions have already seen three bids rejected. Monaco want €50m for Akliouche, while PSG have yet to crack the €40m mark with their offers.

Akliouche is keen on a move to Paris, but the stalemate in club-to-club talks has emboldened Liverpool to launch an enquiry for him after being linked with him in the French press for several weeks.

Lucumi links confirmed

Man Utd are a "dangerous rival" for Juventus in the race to sign Bologna defender Jhon Lucumi, as per Corriere dello Sport.

Italian media claimed earlier this week that Man Utd had "made a move" for the Colombia international after his impressive World Cup performances. It is now added that the Red Devils could "make an offer."

Lucumi is a key target for Juventus amid interest from Galatasaray in Bremer, but there is a worry that Man Utd could blow them out of the water with a higher bid. Bologna's CEO has already confirmed that Lucumi will be allowed to leave this summer.

Odegaard could leave

Arsenal would entertain potential offers for captain Martin Odegaard this summer, TEAMtalk insists.

There is "serious interest" in Odegaard, but suitors are reluctant to meet Arsenal's undisclosed asking price. Nevertheless, there is a chance to see the Norwegian leave if the right offer materialises.

The more likely scenario, though, is that Odegaard will leave the Gunners next summer when he will only have a year left on his contract. Arsenal want to refresh their midfield and the possible signing of Bruno Guimaraes could "hasten" the captain's exit.
