At least four clubs in Rogers battle
The race to sign Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers is intensifying, according to The Times and Sky Sports.
The 23-year-old is fielding concrete interest from at least four clubs: Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG, while Liverpool have also been associated with a move for him by other sources.
Villa don't want to sell, but they will face a battle to keep hold of the England star this summer. They may also simply be compelled to cash in on him if they wish to invest in their side. Rogers, for his part, is said to be open to a move.
Fernandes drops big hint
Bruno Fernandes has hinted that he is planning to stay at Man Utd beyond this season.
Speaking to Men in Blazers, the Red Devils captain insisted that he "feels at home" in Manchester. “Obviously, when you're so long in a place, you kind of feel part of it," he said.
"And obviously, I'm very proud of my nation and I love my country and I love to be there. But I feel at home at Manchester. My kids feel at home here. It's wonderful for me to be in a place where my kids can enjoy so much and feel so much at home as they do in Manchester."
Chelsea join Stiller race
Chelsea have joined Man Utd in the race to sign VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller, Fichajes claims.
The Germany international is expected to take the next step in his career this summer and currently has a €40 million release clause. However, Stuttgart can remove this clause in exchange for a compensation fee.
It is claimed that Chelsea have moved into pole position to sign Stiller, who has been linked with a potential move to Man Utd for the past year. He could command a fee in the region of €50m this summer.
Man Utd consider Smit move
Man Utd are considering making a move for AZ wonderkid Kees Smit, as per CaughtOffside.
The Netherlands international is set to be one of the most in-demand players in the summer market. Smit is expected to leave the Alkmaar club, and virtually every top club in Europe is interested in him.
Man Utd, too, are assessing whether he would fit into their midfield rebuild. Club legend Rio Ferdinand recently urged the Red Devils to make a move for the young Dutchman, describing him as "the truth."
