Enzo Fernandez was dropped for the FA Cup win over Port Vale this weekend after comments last week over a move to Madrid and Caciedo has now tempted fate with his own response while speaking to Spanish outlet AS.

When asked whether he could imagine himself playing for Real, Caciedo said: “You never know in football, don't you think? I have a contract with Chelsea now.

“The truth is, I haven't honestly thought about another club, about leaving London, but well, in the end, you never know in football.

“All I want is to enjoy myself. I have a contract and I want to keep playing as long as God allows. After that, we'll see what happens. I have a contract, but we'll see what the future holds. Let's see what surprises await us.”

Chelsea offered chance to sign Guirassy

Chelsea could finally have a solution to their striker issues this summer after being handed an opportunity to sign one of the most prolific strikers in Europe for a bargain fee this summer.

Chelsea are keen to increase their depth and the quality of competition in attack and they have previously scouted Serhou Guirassy, who has been among the top scorers in the Bundesliga once again this season.

Guirassy has netted 62 league goals in the last three seasons and BILD report that the Borussia Dortmund striker is now keen to leave the club in the summer and secure a big money move, ideally to an elite European side.

Crucially, Guirassy’s contract contains a release clause allowing him to depart for €35m and Chelsea could end up joining the likes of Tottenham, Milan, Fenerbahce and teams in Saudi Arabia for his signature.

Fabrizio Romano confirms Chelsea summer signing

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Strasbourg midfielder Valentin Barco ahead of a move this summer.

The Argentina starlet has been identified as a key target by the Blues hierarchy in recent months and they have moved swiftly to finalise an agreement with his representatives before the 2026 summer transfer window opens in June.

Last month, it was reported that a deal for Barco to join Chelsea was “very close” and it has now been widely speculated that a full agreement has been reached. This has been confirmed by transfer expert Romano, who posted on X: “Valentin Barco has said yes to Chelsea move, personal terms agreed ahead of potential summer transfer.

“Colo Barco wants Chelsea and it’s all set on player side. Up to Chelsea if/when to proceed, in total control of the deal being at Strasbourg.”

Chelsea also own Strasbourg and they are therefore expected to officially complete the transfer shortly.”

Chelsea eye €60m goalkeeper

Chelsea have a ‘strong interest’ in Sunderland goalkeeper Robin Roefs after the Dutch youngster’s impressive start to life in the Premier League.

Roefs only joined Sunderland last summer for €10.5m but the 23-year-old has proven instrumental to the Mackems’ high rise this season.

According to Football Insider, Chelsea are assessing whether to pay up to €60m for Roefs but they will also face interest from Liverpool and Manchester City in any race for the Sunderland star.

Alvarez told to join Chelsea over Arsenal

Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez has been told to snub a summer move to Arsenal in favour of joining their London rivals Chelsea instead.

The Argentina international is one of Mikel Arteta’s top transfer targets for the upcoming summer window, amid the Gunners’ pursuit of a new centre forward, but Ally McCoist believes that Alvarez would be better served joining Chelsea.

Speaking to talkSPORT (via Metro) about Alvarez and a potential summer move to Arsenal, McCoist admitted: “I think he’s got a better chance of playing more regularly at Chelsea, to tell you the truth, than he would at Arsenal.

“Alvarez is a real talent. As I say, it would surprise me to see him coming back. But in terms of where he went, I think he’d probably get more game time. And you know something? Chelsea might appeal to him because of that, because of those factors you’ve mentioned, particularly the one about a young side with a lot of potential…

“You look at the size of Arsenal’s squad, it’s absolutely massive. So, he’s probably got a better chance of getting more regular playing time with Chelsea.”
