Paris Saint-Germain are actively monitoring Leny Yoro’s situation at Manchester United ahead of a possible approach next year.

The France defender, who made his senior international debut earlier this month, is yet to cement his place as a guaranteed starter at Old Trafford and he is one of several stars who could depart the club next year.

Yoro was widely tipped to join Real Madrid before his €62 million move to Man Utd in 2024, and his development has stalled since his arrival in the Premier League.

The former Lille starlet is still only 20 years old, but rumours suggest that Man Utd may be amenable to a sale if they receive a lucrative offer for his services and talkSPORT report that PSG are keeping close tabs on his situation at Old Trafford.

It’s reported that PSG scouts watched him in action during France’s 4-1 win over Belgium earlier this month and although Man Utd believe Yoro could play a key role in future years, there is optimism that a bid could be accepted amid his lack of game time under Michael Carrick.

Yoro has only started one of Man Utd’s last 12 Premier League matches, dating back to April, and with the club expected to prioritise defensive reinforcements in the transfer market next year, he could be offloaded in a bid to make room for any prospective new signings.

TEAMtalk have also confirmed PSG’s interest in the 20-year-old, with Luis Enrique’s side expected to explore a potential deal in 2027.

Analysis: Man Utd could regret Leny Yoro sale

While Yoro is currently behind Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez in the centre-back pecking order at Man Utd, the Red Devils could seriously regret a sale in years to come.

At 20 years old, Yoro is still incredibly young for a central defender and data analytics experts SciSports believe he has the second-highest potential of any player in the Man Utd squad, behind only Kobbie Mainoo.

The France star was courted by every elite club in Europe before opting to move to Old Trafford in 2024 and while their vast investment has not yet reaped any significant rewards, cutting ties now could prove to be a catastrophic error in the near future.
