Fernandez agent drops fresh hint

Javier Pastore, the agent of Enzo Fernandez, has dropped a fresh hint that the midfielder could leave Chelsea this summer.

The former PSG star recently insisted that he and Fernandez had made "peace" with Chelsea after the Argentine was handed a two-game suspension for seemingly flirting with a move to Real Madrid.

However, Pastore has now again cast doubt on his client's Chelsea future by hinting that he could look to leave the club if the Blues were to miss out on Champions League football.

"Now, we're waiting for Chelsea to qualify for the Champions League because he wants to play in the best competitions and he's a winner, and then we'll see," he said.

Van Hecke and Pedro to bury the hatchet?

Chelsea are interested in Brighton centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke, Simon Phillips claims.

The Dutchman has been a standout defender in the Premier League in recent years, but signing him could perhaps create an issue with Blues striker Joao Pedro.

The two had a training ground bust-up towards the end of last season, which resulted in Pedro briefly being suspended by Brighton. He has remained tight-lipped on the incident since his move to Chelsea.

Chelsea face major Rogers competition

The race to sign Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers is intensifying, according to The Times and Sky Sports.

The 23-year-old is fielding concrete interest from at least four clubs: Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and PSG, while Liverpool have also been associated with a move for him by other sources.

Villa don't want to sell, but they will face a battle to keep hold of the England star this summer. They may also simply be compelled to cash in on him if they wish to invest in their side. Rogers, for his part, is said to be open to a move.

Chelsea join Stiller race

Chelsea have joined Man Utd in the race to sign VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller, Fichajes claims.

The Germany international is expected to take the next step in his career this summer and currently has a €40 million release clause. However, Stuttgart can remove this clause in exchange for a compensation fee.

It is claimed that Chelsea have moved into pole position to sign Stiller, who has been linked with a potential move to Man Utd for the past year. He could command a fee in the region of €50m this summer.
