Man Utd Transfer News Today: Bruno Guimaraes agreement amid double Newcastle raid
All the latest Man Utd transfer news in one place, including updates on Bruno Guimaraes, Lewis Hall and Archie Gray.
Guimaraes terms agreed
Man Utd have agreed personal terms with Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, IndyKaila claims.
The Brazilian has emerged as a key target for the Red Devils this summer amid claims that there is a "gentleman's agreement" with Newcastle that effectively allows him to leave if they miss out on Champions League football.
Though Magpies boss Eddie Howe has sought to play down the speculation, it is claimed that Guimaraes is keen on making the switch to Old Trafford this summer.
Man Utd also want Hall
In addition to Guimaraes, Man Utd are also interested in Newcastle full-back Lewis Hall, according to TEAMtalk.
The left-back department is one that could be strengthened this summer, and the Red Devils have also been associated with a potential move for Bayern Munich superstar Alphonso Davies.
Data from SciSports suggests that Hall has a higher ceiling than the Canadian superstar, making him a potentially smarter acquisition. However, Newcastle do not want to sell the 21-year-old.
Sancho exit "100% decided"
It is "100% decided" that Jadon Sancho will leave Man Utd on a free transfer after the conclusion of his loan at Aston Villa, according to Sky Germany.
Man Utd will not exercise their one-year option in his contract and will allow him to leave the club for nothing, having repeatedly tried and failed to offload him permanently in recent years.
Borussia Dortmund are in talks to sign Sancho for a third time, and the winger is understood to be open to another return to the Bundesliga giants, but a final decision has not yet been made.
Man Utd keen on Gray
Tottenham starlet Archie Gray has been added to Man Utd's summer shortlist, as per TEAMtalk.
The versatile defender and midfielder has been a rare positive in Spurs' dismal season and is certain to leave the club if they end up dropping down to the Championship.
This would make him a market opportunity, which has attracted the attention of Man Utd. However, many more suitors have also emerged, including Chelsea, Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund.
Monaco duo monitored
TEAMtalk also asserts that Man Utd are monitoring Monaco stars Maghnes Akliouche and Lamine Camara.
Scouts from the Red Devils were in attendance when Monaco beat Lyon at the weekend. Both Akliouche, a tricky winger, and Camara, a central midfielder, have made a positive impression this season.
24-year-old Akliouche has been a key target for numerous European giants for a few years, while 22-year-old Camara has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Ligue 1. The latter could become an option for Man Utd if they miss out on their top targets this summer.
