Manchester United are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur wonderkid Archie Gray during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The England U21 international has been a rare bright spark in a dismal campaign for Spurs and multiple top teams across Europe are ready to pursue a deal when the 2025-26 season reaches its conclusion.

Gray has made 32 appearances across all competitions so far this campaign, scoring two goals and providing three assists, and it has been reported that he will almost certainly leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium if the north London giants suffer a shock relegation to the Championship.
The 20-year-old’s current contract with Igor Tudor’s side isn’t due to expire until 2030, but his long-term future at the club is far from guaranteed amid significant transfer interest in his services and their current plight.
The versatile Englishman, who is comfortable playing at full-back or as a central midfielder, is the latest Premier League star to be added to Man Utd’s summer transfer wishlist, as per TEAMtalk, with the Red Devils thoroughly impressed by his form this term.
However, it’s also reported that Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea are also closely monitoring Gray’s progress at Spurs ahead of a potential bidding war this summer.
Despite significant transfer interest, the former Leeds United wonderkid is yet to agitate for a move and it’s understood that Tottenham will be in a strong position to retain his services if they are able to beat the drop this year.
If they are relegated, however, a sale could reportedly be on the cards for a fee of less than €60 million.
Analysis: Archie Gray would become Man Utd’s best player
With Casemiro leaving Old Trafford in July, there is set to be a vacant hole next to Kobbie Mainoo in Man Utd’s preferred starting XI.
Gray is one candidate to plug this gap, alongside fellow targets Elliot Anderson, Adam Wharton and Carlos Baleba, and data analytics experts SciSports believe he would be an immense signing for the 13-time Premier League champions.
The England U21 starlet has a current SciSkill rating of 86.2 - which would rank him as the 18th best player in Man Utd’s first-team squad as things stand. However, his potential SciSkill rating stands at a whopping 132.3. This is higher than any current Man Utd star, suggesting Gray could develop into the Red Devils’ best player in the future if he joins the club this summer.
The aforementioned Mainoo, by comparison, has a potential SciSkill rating of 121.4, while fellow young superstar Benjamin Sesko’s potential SciSkill rating stands at 123.9.
