Man Utd target blockbuster Joao Felix transfer
Manchester United have reportedly identified former Chelsea forward Joao Felix as their latest transfer target for the upcoming summer window.
The Red Devils are eager to bolster their attacking options ahead of the 2026-27 campaign and Felix has emerged as a shock option, despite the fact he has been playing in Saudi Arabia for the past eight months.
Felix has scored 21 goals and provided 15 assists in 37 appearances for Al-Nassr since his arrival at the club in July, and he could be set to complete a surprise return to the Premier League later this year following his eye-catching form in the Middle East.
The Portugal international, 26, returned to Chelsea from Atletico Madrid in 2024, but he was unable to displace Cole Palmer in Enzo Maresca’s preferred starting XI and after a short loan stint at AC Milan, he was sold to Al-Nassr for a fee of €30 million.
Man Utd have earmarked a number of targets amid concerns that Bruno Fernandes may depart Old Trafford this summer, and Felix is the latest star to be added to their transfer wishlist, according to Spanish publication Fichajes.
Joao Felix wanted by Man Utd
It’s reported that a fee of up to €60m may be required to finalise a deal during the 2026 summer transfer window and Felix’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has already begun working on a potential deal.
Felix is understood to be eager to join Man Utd this summer, while Michael Carrick’s side are also keen to finalise a transfer for the ex-Chelsea man as they look to improve their attacking options ahead of next season.
Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United) and Yan Diomande (RB Leipzig) are on Man Utd’s transfer radar too, with Carrick recently admitting that his side are likely to target a new left winger this summer amid rumours that Barcelona are set to sign Marcus Rashford on a permanent deal when his loan spell ends.
