Arsenal to pounce on Guler uncertainty?

Arda Guler is facing an uncertain future at Real Madrid, TEAMtalk claims.

The Turkey international played a central role under Xabi Alonso, but his mid-season departure has cast doubt on the attacking midfielder's place in the club's long-term planning.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have been alerted to the possibility that Real Madrid could open the door to a potential departure of the 21-year-old this summer, especially if they announce the (re-)signings of Nico Paz and Victor Munoz, as is expected.

Tonali will only leave on Newcastle's terms

Newcastle CEO David Hopkinson insists that any high-profile sales made this summer will only happen on the club's terms.

Arsenal target Sandro Tonali is one of the most likely players to leave the St. James' Park club this summer, but any move is likely to require a significant fee north of €100 million. "We haven’t got an overall strategy with regard to players [going] out, necessarily," Hopkins said.

"We think through what players might or might not want to do this summer. But if an [Alexander] Isak-like scenario presents itself again, any player under contract is going to leave on our terms and we’re going to maximise the opportunity that might represent for the club."

Arsenal interested in Torres

Arsenal are keeping tabs on Barcelona forward Ferran Torres, according to Fichajes.

Barcelona need to raise funds to be able to sign Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid and are willing to listen to offers for the Spain international. Although Arsenal are also interested in Alvarez, Torres could represent a cheaper alternative.

A cut-price deal for Torres could allow the Gunners to spend big on a marquee midfielder like Tonali or a high-profile left-winger like Yan Diomande, who is expected to cost €100m this summer.

Lewis-Skelly offered to Man Utd

Intermediaries have offered Arsenal youngster Myles Lewis-Skelly to Man Utd, as per the Daily Mail.

Although Lewis-Skelly previously said that he is relishing the fight for regular minutes this season, it is clear that he has now grown frustrated with his lack of action, as it likely means that he will miss out on a spot on England's World Cup roster.

Consequently, it is being increasingly suggested that the left-back is seeking a summer move. Man Utd, who are known to be in the market for a left-sided defender, would be a sensible destination.
